horse ownership

Syndicated, partial, or complete ownership of either a talented young prospect or seasoned competition horse is an exciting way to be a participant in the elite echelons of the sport of eventing. Maintaining horses at the top level of the sport not only requires expertise and hard work, but also financial support. Even senior United States team members and riders receive little to no monetary assistance and must fund their horses personally and with the help of owners and sponsors of these talented horses.

Becoming an owner is a way to be intimately involved in the thrills and excitement of bringing a horse to the top levels of three-day eventing. Owners can see the development of their horse in training at Handlen Farm, at competitions, attend exclusive owners’ parties and accommodations at events, and have access to their horses in the stabling area.

Ownership can take many forms – some prefer to be a full owner, while others may choose to become a partial owner or syndicate a smaller percentage of a horse. Companies interested in sponsoring or owning a horse may have their company’s name incorporated in the horse’s name.

If you are interested in becoming part of a horse’s journey to the top as an international hopeful, please contact Lynn to discuss how to come along for the ride of a lifetime.

Syndicate shares are currently available for Global Cassero 3. Learn more here.

sponsorship

Sponsorship is a valuable strategy for companies desiring increased exposure in the equestrian market. Lynn comes into contact with thousands of spectators and other riders at events all around the United States, and through travel for competitions and teaching. Her contacts with students, Pony Clubs, participants at clinics, owners and other professional riders makes Lynn a key factor in marketing a sponsor’s product by creating a positive personal connection, as opposed to just a print ad in a publication. With Lynn’s large base of students at every level, she is constantly offering advice on product choice from what supplements to feed to what bit to buy. These recommendations of products may create a loyal user for years to come.

In addition to one-on-one advice, Lynn can offer:

  • Logo advertising on saddle pads, ear bonnets, breeches, jackets, as well as baseball caps and polo shirts worn by Lynn and her team.

  • Logo on banner placement on stalls at major events across the country.

  • Autograph signings, course walks, and appearances at major events when requested.

  • Spokesperson in both print and video advertising.

  • Logo and hotlink on Lynn Symansky Equestrian Website.

  • Promotional posts on Facebook and Twitter.

  • Customized promotion available upon request.

Why Sponsor Lynn?

Lynn is a major player on the U.S. eventing scene and influential on the international eventing scene, and now is the right time to join on for the ride!

Lynn runs LSE as a small business with an emphasis on personalized care. She provides hands-on management of all horses in her program, and she enjoys success at every level of the sport, from the local show ring to the world stage of international competition.

The breadth of Lynn’s influence provides sponsors with an opportunity to reach a wide audience of eventing enthusiasts. Lynn’s focus is top-level competition having represented the U.S. on several senior teams, yet she is well-known at the grassroots level of the sport as an instructor, young horse trainer, and mentor to up-and-coming riders.

Lynn is articulate, educated, passionate and ready to promote your company.

donations

Owning a horse is a large financial strain. Getting horses to the upper levels is even harder. While Lynn has tried planting dollar bills into the ground in hopes to sprout a financial assistance tree, nothing has come to fruition yet. Cash donations are another way to help Lynn realize her goals. They flow directly to Lynn to help defray costs such as veterinary care, monthly farrier work, grain and hay, equipment, transportation, competition fees, and the like. No donation is too small. Any assistance is tremendously helpful and greatly appreciated.

Donating through the American Horse Trials Foundation is also a great way to support Lynn and eventing as a whole. The American Horse Trials Foundation is a non-profit corporation established to assist Three-Day Event Riders and Organizers in raising tax-deductible financial support for national and international competition.

Riders who are bona fide national or international level competitors are eligible to apply for grants from the American Horse Trials Foundation to further their preparation for Olympic or World Championship competition. Visit their website for more information.
